Part of the park already available to citizens covers an area of 1.8 hectares, while its total surface area will be 2.7 hectares upon completion, which is an area equal to that occupied by four football fields. Belgrade Park provides visitors with numerous recreational and leisure opportunities, as there are multifunctional courts for basketball, football and handball courts, table tennis tables and a 700-metre long jogging track. In addition, the park has a picnic area, with six tables, and a special attraction for children is certainly the children’s playground. Shade will be provided by 140 trees on warm days, among which stand out decorative apple trees and cherry trees.

At the same time, traffic opened for Woodrow Wilson Boulevard and Nikolaj Kravcov Street, which will connect Savska Street with the Kula Belgrade, the future symbol of the capital. The total length of the boulevard will be 2 kilometers and there will be three lanes each way, as well as a two-way bike path. Woodrow Wilson Boulevard begins at a new roundabout near Karadjordjeva Street, and ends at Vojvode Misica Boulevard at the Belgrade Fair.

With the construction of the park and two roads, work has been completed on half of Belgrade Waterfront’s anticipated infrastructure.
