Belgrade Waterfront presented BW Marina, a new neighborhood on the Sava riverbank, that will combine modern living, marina, cultural facilities and public spaces into a unique urban entity. At the same time, the new BW Sales Centre was opened on the riverfront in the immediate proximity of the Railway bridge, where all those interested will be able to familiarize themselves with the current residential offer and news about the most prominent urban development in the city.
The character and spirit of BW Marina are shaped by the river, Promenada and carefully arranged public spaces. In its centre, there will be a modern city marina with 117 berths, located in a quiet and protected part of the Sava, outside the main river course, thus preserving the natural dynamics of the river and providing a pleasant ambiance for staying on the water. With a water area of 15,500 square metres and almost 9,000 square metres of landscaped coastal space, the marina will be directly connected to the Sava Promenada, allowing citizens to experience the river and the coast in a different way.
The concept of BW Marina is completed by amenities that will give this part of the city a distinctive character and make it vibrant throughout the day. The yacht club with a restaurant and swimming pool will be positioned so as to provide guests with a unique view of the marina and the Sava. An opera house and two more theatre scenes will be situated in the renovated Hall 1, and in front of this imposing building there will be a square where significant cultural events will take place. This makes BW Marina stand out as a space where culture, recreation, nature and contemporary city life naturally intertwine.
The launch of the BW Riva building also marks the beginning of the formation of the first residential community within BW Marina. Located in the immediate vicinity of the marina, the future opera house, the linear park and the extended Promenada, BW Riva brings a living concept in which the river and public spaces are an integral part of everyday life. Future residents will live in an environment that provides peace and privacy, while at the same time remaining connected to all amenities of contemporary urban life.
With the opening of the new Sales Centre, visitors have the opportunity to get to know the entire vision of BW Marina development in one place. Key elements of the project are presented through multimedia content and detailed presentations of the future neighborhood. BW Marina represents a new phase of Belgrade Waterfront development, but also a new perspective of the Sava riverfront living. The combination of the marina, cultural facilities, greenery and modern living creates a city complex designed to equally respond to the needs of future residents, visitors and all those who perceive Belgrade as a city facing its rivers.
