World-class New Year’s spectacle: Laser show, concerts and fireworks from the Kula Belgrade

With sensational fireworks and a laser show from Kula Belgrade, as well as a concert of the most popular local musicians on the Sava Promenada, Belgraders and guests of the city entered 2022 glamorously. Serbian capital had a New Year’s Eve in the rank of the world’s largest metropolises.

The grandiose countdown from the facade of the Kula Belgrade was an introduction to the fireworks accompanied by 55 powerful lasers. Fireworks were fired from eight systems and 250 positions not only from the tallest building in the region but also from the New Belgrade coast. The visually impressive event was complemented by music specially composed for the occasion and inspired by local ethno motifs.

The spectacle is a gift from Belgrade Waterfront to fellow citizens and guests of the capital, and the fireworks were organized in cooperation with the company “Fireworks by Grucci”. This company is a world leader in pyrotechnic events of this type and has set 11 Guinness World Records in the field of fireworks. This was the first time that the content on the media facade of the Kula was shown, and the light effects amazed everyone present. On New Year’s Eve from Kula Belgrade was sent a stunning image to the world, and the tallest building in the region was positioned as a new recognizable symbol of the Serbian capital.

The star of the evening, Goran Bregović, lit up the atmosphere together with the trumpeters and Mladen Vojičić Tifa, with whom he sang the hits of the group Bijelo dugme joined him on the stage. In addition to Brega and Tifa, Angellina, Coby and Saša Kovačević also had amazing performances.
