Powerful message from Kula Belgrade enlightened the capital

One of the most important days in Serbian history was marked with the messages „Happy Statehood Day“ and „Long Live Serbia“

The Statehood Day of the Republic of Serbia was marked from Kula Belgrade with the projection of the Serbian flag and silhouettes of the buildings by which our country is recognizable. On the Candlemass, from 5 pm to 8 pm, the message „Happy Statehood Day“ was broadcast from the highest building in the region on the occasion of one of the most important holidays in local history.

For the first time, fellow citizens and guests of the capital had the opportunity to see a 360-degree animation on the crown of Kula, on which the words „Long Live Serbia“ were broadcast, and both messages were complemented with a laser projection. Powerful messages and images on the facade left a strong impression on all who watched it live and once again confirmed that the 168-metre high building has become a new symbol of the Serbian capital.

Statehood Day in Serbia is celebrated on February 15th, and the holiday was established in 2002. This day celebrates two important historical dates – the raising of the First Serbian Uprising in 1804 and the adoption of the first modern Constitution of the Principality of Serbia in 1835.
