NEW ENERGY OF THE CITY
The Linear Park Green Corridor is not just a new city park – it’s a vision of Belgrade’s future. This unique, several kilometres long green promenade will stretch from Sava Promenada and Belgrade Waterfront, across the revitalized former railway bridge, all the way to Topčiderski Park.
Designed as a modern urban corridor that connects different parts of the city, Green Corridor will unite expansive green spaces, promenades, cycling paths, and areas for rest and recreation.
PEDESTRIAN BRIDGE: GREEN CROSSING
One of the most attractive parts of the Green Corridor will be the Green Crossing, a new pedestrian and cycling bridge, created through the revitalization of the former railway bridge that has been out of service since 2018.
The bridge will retain its authentic shape but will be completely transformed into a modern urban promenade. Along with the pedestrian path, the bridge will feature abundant greenery, designated rest areas, and viewpoints offering views of the river, Old Belgrade, and New Belgrade. It will be a place for relaxation, meetings, and enjoyment – not just a crossing from one bank to the other.
On the New Belgrade side, the entrance to the Green Crossing will lead through a new park, and it is planned to be part of a future promenade connecting New Belgrade with Boulevard Vojvode Mišića and, further on, with Topčider.
