The home of Tesla’s magnificent legacy, housed in the historic Milan Vapa Paper Factory building, will enrich the right bank of the Sava River, offering visitors a unique experience that merges Tesla’s scientific achievements with the architectural beauty of the site.
With its relocation to the spacious building at Bulevar Vojvode Mišića 10, Tesla’s priceless heritage will become accessible to a wider audience, ensuring each exhibit is presented in a dignified manner.
THE HOME OF TESLA'S IMPRESSIVE LEGACY
The museum’s collection is comprised of nine curated groups, featuring over 1,200 exhibits such as personal belongings, clothing, awards, as well as technical items from the fields of engineering and electrical technology. These provide an intimate glimpse into the great innovator, his inventions, lifestyle, and creative process.
A true gem of the museum is Tesla’s personal archive, housed in 548 boxes containing 164,000 documents. These include his manuscripts, scientific notes, drawings, and various schematics – a priceless source of knowledge that played a pivotal role in his groundbreaking research.

Tesla’s invaluable collection, encompassing both personal belongings and inventions, was included in UNESCO’s “Memory of the World” register in 2003. This register represents the highest level of protection for a cultural heritage on a global scale, highlighting the significance of Tesla’s legacy and its importance to humanity.
Through its inclusion in the UNESCO register, the preservation of this collection ensures future generations have a comprehensive insight into Tesla’s thoughts and life. This archival material reaffirms that this genius was not only a pioneer in electrical engineering but also one of the most influential scientists in history, whose work shaped the modern world.
