During the traditional European Heritage Days, which this year is marked with the theme “Sustainable Heritage”, a guided tour of the building of the former Belgrade Cooperative in Karadjordjeva Street will be organized.
One of the most beautiful buildings in Belgrade was built in 1907 according to the project of then leading Belgrade architects, university professors Andra Stevanović and Nikola Nestorović, while the construction was financed by the great philanthrope Luka Ćelović Trebinjac, who already knew that Savamala would become the most attractive city location.
Free guided tours of the Belgrade Cooperative at Karadjordjeva will be organized on Tuesdays, September 20 and 27, October 4 and 11, starting at 1 PM. During the tour, visitors will hear information about the history of the building of timeless beauty in Belgrade, but also about the exciting development of Savamala.
Registrations are made at email@example.com, and the number of visitors for each tour is limited.
