Government of Republic of Serbia and Eagle Hills Signed Joint Venture Agreement for Belgrade Waterfront

Realization of the project Belgrade Waterfront was officially launched on April 26, 2015, when the Government of the Republic of Serbia and Eagle Hills signed a Joint Venture agreement. Thanks to this agreement, Belgrade will be home to the new destination situated on the bank of the River Sava. Present and future citizens of Belgrade and their guests will find their new home and spend quality leisure time in a modern, safe and well maintained environment boasting plenty of greenery. This project is located on an approximately 1 mil sq m site, with the total construction area of 2 mil sq m. With a development value of US$3 billion, Belgrade Waterfront will also feature the largest urban destination in the Balkans. The integrated master- planned community will comprise world-class residences, commercial facilities, premium and affordable hotels, a mall with a gross construction area of over 140,000 sq m, educational institutions, healthcare amenities and a range of leisure attractions. One of the most impressive characteristics of Belgrade Waterfront definitely will be the Kula Belgrade, about 200 meters high, which will provide a beautiful view over different parts of Belgrade. Developed to the highest sustainability standards, Belgrade Waterfront will not only bring significant value to the property, hospitality and retail sectors of the city but will also catalyse foreign investments to Serbia in the coming years.
