Exhibition „ The Untellable Stories “, by one of the most famous artists of Serbian art brut scene and the recipient of many awards and recognitions, Joskin Siljan, was presented within the KVART Belgrade Waterfront cultural and artistic initiative. The exhibition was held at the BW Experience at the beginning of September, and was organized in collaboration with the STAB Gallery. Through this exhibition, Siljan directed all fans of unusual art form to the essence of the philosophy of art and a combination of abstract details.
Visitors enjoyed this energetic and unique exhibition, which featured paintings, installations and works that have been created since the beginning of 2000 to the present. Select abstract works, most of which were shown to the general public for the first time, mirror Siljan’s authentic visions – a map of the unseen and a record of dreams. The artist’s bold works move him from the narrow frame of naive and marginal art, placing him side by side with the greatest artists of the world underground art scene and generating great interest for his work in the world’s most important art brut centres.
