Cineplexx brings IMAX® Technology to Galerija Belgrade

Cineplexx, the leading regional cinema chain, will soon open the largest and most modern cinema in Galerija Belgrade, with the technology yet unseen in Serbia.

New cinema Cineplexx Galerija Belgrade will offer viewers the largest screen in a multiplex cinema in the region, with a total area of 336 sqm and a length of 24 metres, which is almost twice the size of a tennis court, as well as IMAX® technology, which elevates the cinema experience to the highest possible level in the world.

IMAX® is a completely unique system, consisting of a number of new technologies, starting with the IMAX® camera, film format, special projector and finally the cinema hall itself. The giant screen and all elements of IMAX® technology will set new standards for watching movies in Serbia, because this technology is synonymous with crystal clear image, laser-precise sound, and a special layout of seats in the hall, built according to special criteria so that each place is the best.

The largest cinema in Serbia will occupy an area of over 4,000 sqm, with a total of 9 halls and more than 1,700 seats. ATMOS technology and Real D Ultimate screen will be represented in three halls, and JBL Sound Performance in the others.

Cineplexx Galerija Belgrade will also offer exceptional comfort in the form of special seats – electronic seats (VIP deluxe), sofas, lovebox and love seats.

For the first time in Serbia, ticket vending machines will be set up in this cinema.

„The new Cineplexx Galerija Belgrade will become a regional centre for a completely new film experience, thanks to the revolutionary technology we bring“, said Christof Papousek, Cineplexx’s managing partner.

Galerija Belgrade is the largest regional shopping, dining and entertainment destination. In addition to the most modern cinema, it will offer well-known brands in premium editions, restaurants and cafes with a unique concept, as well as innovative entertainment formats.
