Outdoor Fun for All Generations

Outdoor Fun for All Generations

The weekend at Sava Promenada was marked by various cultural and educational events that brought together many visitors of all generations, confirming its position as one of Belgrade’s favorite promenades.

The fun started on Sunday with the opening of the Sava Port Global Fest where many countries from several continents presented their traditional culinary specialties, souvenirs, costumes and various handicrafts. Visitors had a chance to learn about the traditions and cultures of these countries through songs and dances, and everyone enjoyed the versatile program of performances, which was completed with a concert of the famous music group Legende.

Sports enthusiasts enjoyed the 13th Bike Fest, which had cyclists pass through the Serbian capital on their way from Thessaloniki to Vienna as part of the international project ‘Bike for Europe.’ Additionally, the exhibition Savamala on Two Wheels was organised for fans of motorised two-wheelers in collaboration with the Association of Residents and Lovers of Savamala, where the proud owners of these unique custom engines showcased their powerful machines while live bands invoked the true spirit of rock and roll.

Younger visitors were also catered to via essential program events. The podium in front of the BW Residences was turned into a summer stage for the second Brainobrain children’s festival where children had fun with their peers, participated in creative workshops, and enjoyed various sports activities and artistic performances. Branka Veselinović, a famous actress and lifelong ambassador of UNICEF, was the distinguished guest at the festival, and the youngsters had the opportunity to meet the young actor Petar Novićević.
