The “24 Hours of Elegance” Event Showcased Glamorous Old-Timer Cars

Belgrade Waterfront hosted the “Belgrade Waterfront Classic Car Show 2019” for the third time, at which the world’s and domestic most renowned car collectors presented their old-timers. Lovers of luxurious four-wheelers, in addition to the gems of the automotive industry, had the opportunity to get acquainted with the work of Serbian world-renown designer Marko Lukovic and his class of students. On this occasion, visitors were reminded of the unforgettable moments of the Belgrade Formula Race of 1939, which this year celebrates its 80th anniversary. On the occasion of this jubilee, the original goblet that Tazio Nuvolari won at the Grand Prix race in Belgrade was exhibited, which King Peter II Karadjordjevic personally awarded to the winner in 1939.

Also, within the “Salon of Excellence” the world’s most prestigious brands such as Edward Sexton, Gaziano & Girling, Blackbirdfield and others, were presented. The ninth “24 Hours of Elegance” event was organized in partnership with Belgrade Waterfront, Generali and Jaguar, the Serbian Association for Historic Vehicles, and sponsored by the Karadjordjevic Royal Family.
